The Seedling School of Law and Governance of Jaipur National University, Jaipur is now gearing up to organize the 7th Professor V.S. Mani International Law Moot Court Competition, 2018. The Law School of the University has evolved into the most sought after educational institution in the ten years spotless and creditable journey. The University was accredited by NAAC in the year 2015.
At the outset, let us express our heart-felt gratitude for the overwhelming response from the student community of the different law schools of India and abroad, since the inaugural Moot Court Competition held in October 2012. The team from the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore took away the winning trophy and the Symbiosis Law School, Noida, India finished as the runners up at the inaugural Competition. At the Second Competition held in August 2013, Gujarat National Law University, Gujarat took away the trophy. At the Third Competition held in October 2014 the teams from K.C. Law College, Mumbai were the winners. At the Fourth held in October 2015 National Law University, Assam took away the trophy. At the Fifth Competition held in October 2016 the team from UILS, Panjab University Chandigarh, Punjab, was declared the winners of the Trophy. At the Sixth Competition held in September 2017 the team from Christ University, Bangalore was declared the winners of the Trophy.
It gives us immense pleasure to most cordially invite your esteemed institution to participate in the 7th Professor V. S. Mani Memorial International Law Moot Court Competition 2018 being organized by Jaipur National University, Jaipur, at its Seedling School of Law and Governance, Rajasthan from October 05–07, 2018.
The moot problem so prepared for Prof. V.S Mani Memorial Moot Court Competition 2018, is with regard to concepts enshrined under Public International Law, with special emphasis on the place that Human Rights’ concepts occupy under the International Law Regime, particularly the issues related with prisoners of war.
The competition will indeed be an ideal forum to bring together some of the most creative and intellectual young minds from leading Law Schools around the globe to participate and witness their mastery on advocacy and research skills to be adjudged by expert teams.
All the Law Schools are invited to confirm their participation through email (email@example.com). The hard copy of the registration form should accompany a Demand Draft of Rs. 3,500/ = (for the teams from India) or Bank Transfer Receipt for US $ 100 (for teams from abroad).
